FSU Diving Ready for Zones

Three men and two ladies will compete at the NCAA Diving Zone B Qualifier beginning on Monday in Knoxville, Tn.

Rittenhouse was a member of the 2008 Olympic Team as well as the 2009 and 2007 World Championship Teams

2011-2012: Qualified for NCAA's with her performance on the springboard events at the Zone B qualifier...took silver on 1-meter and claimed fourth on 3-meter at ACC's en route to earning All-ACC honors.

2010-11: Did not compete.

2010: Rittenhouse was a point-scorer at the 2010 NCAA Championships as a freshman with a 12th-place finish on 3-meter (326.85), 21st on platform (236.55) and 24th on 1-meter (272.55)... won the 1-meter at the 2010 Pac-10 Championships (326.25), was third on 3-meter (366.60) and ninth on platform (226.85)... won the bronze medal at the FINA/Li-Ning Diving World Series meet in Veracruz, Mexico on the 3-meter synchronized springboard event with then-teammate Victoria Ishimatsu...represented the U.S. at the 2009 World Championships in Rome, where she finished fifth on 3-meter and sixth on 3-meter synchro events...her fifth-place on 3-meter was the first American top 5 finish at the world championships since 1994.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Halstrom HS (an online school), competed at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, where she finished fourth on 3-meter synchro (with Kelci Bryant) ...won the bronze medal in the 3-meter synchro in 2008 at the U.S. Diving Spring Nationals, the FINA Diving World Cup and FINA Diving World Series events in Mexico and London ...awarded the silver medal at the 2007 Pan Am Games ...was first with Bryant at the 2007 Kaiser Permanente National Championships ... was 10th on 3-meter synchro at the 2007 World Championships and took the silver medal at the 2006 World Cup in 3-meter synchro.

PERSONAL: Born December 9, 1990 ... daughter of Robert and Sharon Rittenhouse...mother, Sharon, attended USC and was a 1964 Olympic silver medalist in the 400m IM... uncle, Michael Finneran, was an Olympic diver in 1976...was a 2011 Marks Scholar Athlete at the University of Southern California...is majoring in Communications.
