2002: Indoor – Outstanding performer for the Lady Seminoles in the shot put and weight throw…in the shot put, placed third with a team high and season-high mark of 48-2.50 at the ACC Championships to earn all-conference honors…Outdoor – Ended the season as the Lady Seminoles’ top thrower in the shot put and discus, while adding impressive marks in the hammer throw…finished eighth at the ACC Championships in the shot put and 10th in the hammer throw…her season-best distance of 146 feet in the discus came at the FSU Relays…had the second-longest toss in the hammer throw for the Lady Seminoles last season with a mark of 161-03 at the FSU 3-Way meet.
2001: Took a redshirt for the season.
At Wyoming: Indoor – Placed sixth at the USA Nationals in the shot put with a throw of 53-01.50…Outdoor – Won the Mountain West Conference title in the shot put…placed sixth in the hammer throw and ninth in the discus at the MWC Championships.
Prep: Junior All-American in track and field…won the Georgia state title in both the shot put and discus…her mark in the discus throw set a new state record…won the High School National Scholastic meet in the weight throw and the shot put…competed in softball and basketball…earned athletic academic
honor roll honors all four years.
