2001: Had an impressive freshman campaign earning all-conference honors and winning the ACC Outdoor Championship in the discus throw…his season-best throw in the discus came at the conference meet with a distance of 176-00…won the discus event at the FSU Quad meet and placed second at the FSU Season Opener and FSU Relays…finished second in the shot put at the FSU Season Opener and third at the FSU Relays…his top mark in the shot put came at the ACC Indoor Championship with a mark of 46-10.75 to place 11th….competed in the javelin, weight and hammer throw.
