2001: Followed an impressive 2000 season with another strong effort in 2001, capturing All-ACC honors in three events…finished the 60m in 7.49 at the ACC Indoor Championship, good for third overall…finished second at both the ACC Indoor and Outdoor Championships in the triple jump…had a strong outdoor season in the triple jump, finishing first twice and second three times…set her personal best in the 200m at the Georgia Bulldog Classic, finishing in 24.10.
2000: Had an immensely successful indoor and outdoor season … earned an ACC Championship crown as part of the conference’s top 4x400m relay team … name All-ACC for both the indoor and outdoor seasons … finished the season with a season-best 100m time of 12.01 at the outdoor conference championships, crossing the finish line in fourth place to help the Lady Seminoles take three of the top-four spots in that event … also notched a season-best time in the 200m with a time of 24.83 at the same meet … owns the squad’s third-best returning 400m time with a mark of 57.76 at the Florida Relays … sprinted her way to a third-place finish at the indoor conference championships in the 60m dash when she crossed the finish line in Blacksburg, Va., with a time of 7.60 … added another top-10 finish at the ACC Indoor Championships when she placed eighth in the 200m dash … continued her success in Blacksburg, Va., when she finished fourth and seventh in the 60m and 200m, respectively, at the Virginia Tech Invitational …
1999: Redshirted during the outdoor season...finished as FSU’s second fastest runner in the 55m and first in the 200m at the Florida Intercollegiates during the indoor season...added another second-place finish among FSU sprinters in the 55m at the SEC/ACC Challenge...had the fourth best time in the conference in the 55m and the 10th best time in the 60m dash...1998: Ran indoor best 55m time of 7.07 at the Florida Invitational...turned in top indoor 200m mark at ACC/SEC Challenge (25.84)...finished sixth overall in the ACC Indoor 55m with a time of 7.59...placed second only to Kim Batten at the FSU Relays in the 100m (11.77) ...took second in the 100m (11.64) and fourth in the 200m (24.62) at the Florida Intercollegiates...scored at the ACC Outdoors with a fifth place effort and collegiate best time of 11.61 in the 100m...placed third in the 100m (11.79) and the 200m (24.18) at the FSU-Nebraska-UF tri-meet..
Prep: Ranked in the top ten nationally in both the 100m and 200m...Ohio state champion in the 100m and 200m as a junior...also ran on state championship 4x100m and 4x200m relay teams as a junior ...set the Ohio state record in the 55m with a time of 7.12...state MVP in 1996...selected FSU over numerous national track powers ...
Personal: A psychology major...born on Valentine’s Day, 1979...sister, Adrienne, ran track at Kentucky...rooms with team-mate Ayana Townsend and former FSU All-American Yashiva Edwards.
