Jason Pappas
	Position: Associate Athletic Director

Dr. Jason Pappas enters his first year as Director of Athletic Academic Support/Assistant Athletic Director at Florida State University for Student Athlete Academic Services. He comes to FSU from the University of Southern California.

Dr. Pappas was the Director of Athletic Academic Advising/Assistant Athletic Director for four and half years for the athletic academic support program at the University of Southern California. Before relocating to Los Angeles he served seven and half years as a member of the academic support team for the University of South Carolina's Athletic Department. Dr. Pappas served as director of academic support and had primary responsibility for football and baseball academic progress.

A graduated of The Florida State University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Communications, Dr. Pappas earned a Master's of Science from Florida State University in 1998 in Sports Administration. He completed his Master's of Education degree in Educational Administration from the University of South Carolina December of 2001. In May of 2010, Dr. Pappas earned his Doctor of Education in Educational Administration.

Dr. Pappas was born in Las Vegas, Nev. He and his wife Dr. Cara Pappas have a son, Anthony Mason born on September 11, 2003 and a daughter, Alexa Grace born on June 4, 2009.
