Don Fauls Athletic Training Room Florida State Athletic Training embarks on a very exciting time as construction to the Don Fauls Athletic Training Room was completed in 2004. The 15,000 square foot training room is housed off Doak Campbell Football Stadium and is utilized by all 18 varsity sports. This facility is adaquetly equipped with the latest advances that the field of sports medicine has to offer. Some of the attractions include an in-house pharmacy, x-ray machine, and 2 physician evaluation rooms. There is a 4,000 square foot rehabilitation room with the latest version of a Biodex isokinetic testing machine. The treatment area includes 24 treatment tables with various modalities, computer injury tracking devices, and 18 taping benches. Florida State's athletes have amply accessibility for aquatic therapy as the Don Fauls Athletic Training Room includes a 8' x 20' in-ground workout pool, a 9' x 16' in-ground cold whirlpool, a 9' x 16' in-ground warm whirlpool, and 9 extremity whirlpools. The training room is complimented with an orthotic room and an education center/teaching lab that will be large enough for athletic training students to utilize. Tully Athletic Training Room The completion of Don Fauls Athletic Training Room in 2004, converts this facility from one of FSU's main training rooms into a satellite medical preparation area. The training room currently is utilized by Volleyball, Men's and Women's Tennis, Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving, and Track and Field teams before and after practices. Soccer/Softball Medical Preparation Area FSU's Soccer/Softball Medical Preparation Area was completed in January of 2000. This satellite facility is used only by these two sports before and after practices/competition. The training room has a prime location directly between the neighboring soccer and softball fields. FSU Basketball Training Center FSU's Basketball Training Room is part of the new basketball training facility which opened up in August 2002. This facility is considered to be one of the top collegiate facilities in the nation. FSU's Basketball Training Center serves as the practice facility for both the men's and women's basketball teams.
