Faculty Athletic Representative

Florida State University's Faculty Athletic Representative (FAR) reports to the President and Faculty Senate on the status of intercollegiate athletics; represents the University at meetings of the NCAA and ACC, coordinates the work of the Board's committees, and serves as the bridge between the University and its intercollegiate athletics programs.  The FAR is also responsible for administering the annual certification examination for coaches, chairing appeals of Athletic Department policies that adversely affect student athletes, and participating in the investigation of NCAA or ACC infractions by the institution.  Professor Pamela L. Perrewé is the current FAR.
