Ben Zierden is in his 13th year as a member of the athletic staff at Florida State and his 3rd year as Assistant Athletics Director for Ticket Sales and Operations.
In his current role Zierden leads all ticket operations and works in conjunction with Seminole Boosters and Seminole Sports Marketing on all ticket-related fundraising, sales and promotional strategies including the management of a newly created Ticket Sales Department.
After graduating from Florida State University with a B.S. in Sport Management in 1998, Zierden began his work in the athletics department as a graduate assistant in the ticket office while working on his Master's degree in sport administration, which he completed in 2001. He has advanced through several positions in the Ticket Office from Customer Service Representative to Assistant Ticket Manager to Director of Ticket Operations. He was promoted to his current position as Assistant Athletics Director in March of 2010.
During his time at Florida State, Zierden has played a leading role in several ticketing initiatives including the upgrade of online and back-office processes, the implementation of Digital Ticketing, new online student ticket processes and other technology-based improvements to enhance customer service.
Zierden is married to the former Kimberly Knight of Tallahassee and they have two daughters, Addison and Emory .
