Brandon Mellor
	Position: Seminoles.com Senior Writer

Brandon Mellor is the senior writer for Seminoles.com, the official website of the Florida State University Athletics Department. In this role, he creates original online written content for the various sports pages as well as the Doak Insider Blog. He also edits the website and provides quality control for the site.

Prior to joining Seminoles.com, Mellor spent three seasons working as an assistant sports information director for FSU. In addition to the normal duties required as an assistant SID, he has written the official football game recaps and other various football feature stories for Seminoles.com since the 2009 season.

A 2006 and 2010 graduate of Florida State, Mellor has been writing about FSU since 2004; covering the Seminoles for the Tallahassee Democrat, Orlando Sentinel, Daytona Beach News Journal and Scout.com before joining the athletics department in 2008. He was also the editor-in-chief of the FSU student newspaper, the FSView & Florida Flambeau, as an undergraduate student.

He and his wife, Christy, have a daughter named Maycen and a son named Dash.
