Coaching Background
- Chris Harvey joined Florida State strength & conditioning staff in March 2008 after four seasons as an assistant football coach. He came to FSU from NCAA Division II Glenville State in West Virginia, where he spent two seasons as the defensive line coach.
- Prior to his position at Glenville State, Harvey was the defensive coordinator and strength & conditioning coach at Man High School in West Virginia, his alma mater, where he played football.
- Harvey was a four-year letter winner on the football field at the University of Miami and a member of the Hurricanes' 2001 national championship team. A long snapper, he was part of five bowl teams and has the distinction of playing in all four BCS bowls - Sugar, Rose, Fiesta and Orange.
