December 16, 2005: Jason Rich and the Seminoles play Bowling Green in the Coors Classic on Dec. 17. The game is a return home for sophomores Jason Rich and Ralph Mims who are both from Pensacola, Fla. The game against the Falcons is being played in Mobile, Ala. -- just over one hour from Pensacola.

December 14, 2005: Leon Washington's 14-yard TD run in the third quarter of the ACC Championship game put the Seminoles up 17-3. The Jacksonville native helped contribute to a 24-point FSU third quarter, which led to a 27-22 victory to put the Seminoles in their nation-leading sixth BCS bowl game.

December 12, 2005: Sophomore Ralph Mims currently leads the ACC in free throw percentage as he is a perfect 17 for 17 from the line through the Seminoles' first six games.
December 11, 2005: The last time Florida State played a Big Ten team in a bowl game, EG Green (No. 19) was named MVP of the 1998 Sugar Bowl as the Seminoles defeated Ohio State 31-14. Green had seven catches for 176 yards and a touchdown
December 10, 2005: FSU rookie Britany Miller was named ACC Co-Rookie of the Week on Monday. The Tallapoosa, Ga., native is averaging 10.8 points and a team-high 6.1 rebounds per game.

December 8, 2005: Jason Rich led the Seminoles to a 90-59 victory over Texas Southern on December 6. He scored 15 points and pulled down 11 rebounds to record the first double-double of his career. Rich is averaging 10.5 points through the first six games of the 2005-06 season.

December 6, 2005: Senior Willie Reid was named the MVP of the ACC Championship game after leading Florida State to a 27-22 victory over No. 5 Virginia Tech.
December 5, 2005: Senior Willie Reid was the most valuable player in FSU's 27-22 win over Virginia Tech in the ACC Championship game. Reid recorded 210 all-purpose yards, which included an 83 yard punt return for a touchdown.

December 3, 2005: The FSU women's basketball team won its sixth straight Seminole Classic with wins over 2005 NCAA Tournament teams Western Carolina and Montana. Rookie Britany Miller was named MVP of the tournament while Nikki Anthony and Ganiyat Adeduntan earned All-Tournament team honors.
December 1, 2005: Former Seminole Sam Cassell, who is ranked sixth in the ACC in assists, has led his new team -- the Los Angeles Clippers -- to one of the best starts in the NBA this season. Cassell is averaging 15.6 points per game and the Clippers are 10-4 and in second place in the NBA's Western Conference.
