July 26, 2005 The scenery was breathtaking in the hills of Virginia. Leon Washington poses in front of the waterfall halfway up the mountain toward Hot Springs, Va. Leon Washington and Kamerion Wimbley got plenty of media attention prior to the group photo with the ACC players. Two players from all 12 ACC schools were present at the ACC Football Kickoff. ACC players group shot. One of the television stations took Leon aside for an interview. Kamerion was interviewed as well. The series of interviews began at 1:30 and lasted four straight hours. Plenty of television interviews. This reporter was from Boston. The players were mic'd at each stop. Leon entertained the radio media. With microphone in hand, Leon is ready for more questions. This reporter asked Kamerion about his extra efforts in the weight room this summer. Sometimes it takes just as long to get ready for the interview as the interview itself! Lights, camera, action. When Leon and Kamerion arrived for print interviews, they were immediately mobbed by reporters. Leon addressed a print reporter. Kamerion answers questions as other reporters listen in. Leon had the attention of several reporters. Both Leon and Kamerion answered questions for the print reporters for an hour and a half straight. Think there are enough tape recorders in front of Leon? Kamerion's final interview brought a smile to his face and FoxSportsnet reporter Ray Goodrich. Leon was also interviewed by Conference Call - a radio show that covers the league.
