During the month of February, student-athletes visited three of the southside elementary schools to provide words of encouragement for the elementary students taking the FCAT. Everette Brown (MFB), Anthony Kelly (MFB), Marcus Sims (MFB), Sarah Griffin (WVB), Alex Plummer (WVB), Brianna Berry (WVB), Stacy Radamacher (WSW), Katie Metka (WSW), Libby Gianeskis (WSO), Ashley Kemp (WGO), Sarah Young (WGO), and Audrey Hand (WCC) collectively visited with over 900 elementary school students.

Due to the partnership between FSU Athletics and the Ounce of Prevention Fund of Florida, FSU student-athletes not only provided the elementary school students with helpful test taking tips, but also provided actual giveaways for all students taking the FCAT. Those giveaways included FSU stress balls, "Whatever it Takes" bracelets, pencils, rulers, and good luck cards and posters for all of the students taking the FCAT.
