On Friday April 8th, Florida State soccer players Rachel McDowell and Jessica Vaccaro went to Pineview Elementary school to take part in an ice cream social that honored children who made the honor roll. They fed ice cream to the kids and played games with them on the playground. They had a great time mingling with the kids and talking to them about the importance of academics. The kids enjoyed the ice cream social as well and were very excited to play games with these two student-athletes. It was a wonderful community service event.
