Special Olympics Leon County was proud to host the Area Summer Games at Godby High this past Saturday, March 20th from 7:30am - 3:30pm. The games included over 100 athletes from Leon, Gadsden, Jefferson, Wakulla and Taylor counties. Competition took place in track and field, soccer and volleyball. The events also included Olympic villiage fun and games, Leon County Sherriff displays, food, prizes and much more. More than twenty Florida State University Student-Athletes were eager and proud to help out for the day. The following athletes were in attendance:
