Florida State Student-Athletes Visit Students At John Paul II High School

    Feb. 20, 2004

On Monday, February 16, 2004, six Florida State Student-Athletes spent the evening at John Paul II High School talking with younger student-athletes about competing for the Seminoles.

The student-athletes representing Florida State were Ashley Meyer and Jessica Skower (Volleyball), Kyler Hall and Pat Watkins (Football), Carly Brieske (Softball), and Jez Ratliff (Soccer).

Each Student-Athlete described what life is like for a college athlete, as well as describing how to balance school, athletics, and a social life. The students at John Paul II High School were very interested in hearing about what it took to become Division I Student-Athletes. The evening concluded with a question and answer session.
