SACRAMENTO, CA ---- The Sacramento Kings today acquired forward Patrick Patterson, center Cole Aldrich, guard Toney Douglas and cash considerations from the Houston Rockets in exchange for forwards Francisco Garcia, Thomas Robinson and Tyler Honeycutt, according to Kings President of Basketball Operations Geoff Petrie.
"We are excited about the addition of Patrick, Toney and Cole," said Petrie. "They will add skill and depth along with the potential for a different look to our roster. We all want to thank Francisco, Thomas and Tyler for their efforts and contributions."
In Patterson, the Kings receive the 14th overall selection of the 2010 NBA Draft (Kentucky) who averaged 11.6 points (.519 FGs, .365 3FGs, .755 FTs), 4.7 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game in 47 outings with the Rockets this season (started 38). The 6-9, 235-pound forward has posted career numbers of 8.4 points (.495 FGs, .347 3FGs, .723 FTs), 4.3 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game in 163 contests with Houston (started 45).
Aldrich is a 6-11, 240-pound center selected by Oklahoma City with the 11th pick in the 2010 NBA Draft (Kansas) and is averaging 1.7 points (.530 FGs, .704 FTs) and 1.9 rebounds in 74 career games with both the Thunder and Rockets.
Douglas is a third-year pro who tallied 8.1 points (.395 FGs, .377 3FGs, .882 FTs), 1.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 0.8 steals in 49 games with the Rockets this season. The 6-2, 185-pound guard was drafted by the New York Knicks out of Florida State and has notched career averages of 8.8 points (.406 FGs, .357 3FGs, .825 FTs), 2.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 0.9 steals in 224 career contests.
Garcia, whose years with the Kings (8th season) made him the longest-tenured player on the roster, was selected by the Sacramento as an early entry candidate out of Louisville with the 23rd overall pick in the 2005 NBA Draft and is averaging 5.2 points (.376 FGs, .367 3FGs, .857 FTs), 1.7 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 17.8 minutes per game in 40 contests (started 15) this season. He has amassed career averages of 8.3 points (.433 FGs, .360 3FGs, .809 FTs), 2.7 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 22.2 minutes per game in 460 outings (started 128).
Robinson is averaging 4.8 points (.424 FGs, .577 FTs), 4.7 rebounds and 15.9 minutes per game in 51 contests as a rookie this season. He has scored in double-figures in seven games and grabbed 10 or more rebounds on five occasions. Robinson was selected by the Kings as an undergraduate (junior) out of Kansas with the fifth overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft.
Honeycutt, currently in his second NBA season, is averaging 0.9 points (.273 FGs, 0-2 3FGs, 2-2 FTs), 1.1 rebounds and 3.6 minutes per game in nine contests off the bench for Sacramento. He has recorded career averages of 1.2 points (.314 FGs, .200 3FGs, .714 FTs), 1.0 rebounds and 5.0 minutes per game in 24 outings. Honeycutt was selected by the Kings as a sophomore out of UCLA with the 35th overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft.

Men's Basketball
The Noles split last week's games by defeating Boston College with an all-around performance for the team. Michael Snaer led the way with 21 points and freshman point guard Devon Bookert dished out 8 assists with 0 turnovers. The team played well against #3 Miami but fell in the end. The Noles hit the road to take on NC State - Tuesday at 7pm on ESPN2 and then on Sunday vs. Virginia Tech at 6pm- on ESPNU. Follow the Noles on social media. Women's Basketball
The No. 19 ranked Florida State women's basketball team knocked off #14 UNC on Sunday afternoon in Tallahassee. Seniors Leonor Rodriguez (22 points), Chelsea Davis (21 points) and Alexa Deluzio (15 points) and junior Natasha Howard (17 points) all scored in double figures to lead the Seminoles to an 80-73 victory. The win marked Semrau's seventh 20-win season as the Noles improved to 20-5 overall on the season. The squad will hit the road for a tough battle against Duke on the 22nd and Virginia Tech on the 24th before returning home on February 28th for the final home game of the season. The Noles will host the Maryland Terrapins for Senior Night on the 28th at 7pm in the Tucker Center where all fans will be admitted for free. Baseball
The Noles swept through a weekend series with Rhode Island winning Sunday with a dramatic 10th inning walk-off home run from True Freshman DJ Stewart. The Noles got the 2013 campaign started on the right foot Friday afternoon defeating Rhode Island 11-5 in front of a great opening day crowd of 5,354 on Mike Martin Field inside Dick Howser Stadium. Saturday the Noles scored 5 runs late in the game to finish off the Rams 6-2. Florida State returns to Dick Howser Stadium Tuesday afternoon at 4pm facing off with Jacksonville, followed by a weekend series with in-state rival USF.
Softball
The 21st ranked Softball team hosted the Unconquered Invitational and came away with a successful weekend early in the season. The Noles got quality wins over Arkansas and Hofstra who boasts one of the nation's best pitchers. Tulsa played good ball all weekend as they took home the crown. Women's Tennis
The No. 27 - ranked Florida State women's tennis team captured a sweeping 7-0 victory over UCF on Friday, moving to 5-1 on the season. On Sunday, The Noles defeated the No. 61 ranked Georgia State Panthers, 5-2 at the Indoor Tennis Facility. The Seminoles head to Miami, Fla. on Friday for a match against Florida International at 10 a.m. before taking on No. 12 ranked Miami on Saturday at 11 a.m
Men's Tennis
This weekend on Sunday, February 24, IMG Academy is set to host No. 28 Florida State and No. 5 Pepperdine at 1 p.m. This marks the first time the Seminoles are playing a neutral match at IMG Academy. Matches are set to be streamed for free online.
Golf
In the inaugural Florida State Match-Up Tournament, Florida State was led by senior Jessica Negron who finished in a tie for third place in the individual standings with an even par score of 216. She carded an even par score of 72 in the first round and a 2 under par score of 70 in the second round. The Seminoles finished in fourth place in the team standings - their second top five finish of the spring season after finishing in a second place at the Florida Challenge to open the season.
Swimming & diving
The Florida State Women's Swimming & Diving heads to Greensboro, NC to compete for the ACC Championships starting Wednesday. The Men's Championship will be the following week, also in Greensboro.

Goodwill Industries of the Big Bend is the presenting sponsor of this Saturday's FSU men's basketball game against Boston College at noon. Goodwill is conducting a donation drive at the game and will have donation bins and a truck outside of the northwest plaza main entrance of the Donald L. Tucker Center.
'Noles fans looking to make a difference in the community are encouraged to bring a donation item to the game. As an added incentive for your philanthropic efforts in the Big Bend, the first 250 people to donate an item will receive a free ticket to an upcoming Florida State men's basketball game.
Old hats, clothes, coats, and household items as well as old electronics and small furniture are considered acceptable donation items. All donations are considered tax deductible and Goodwill Industries will have staff members on hand to issue receipts.

The No. 19 ranked Florida State women's basketball team cruised past Miami on Sunday, coming away with a 93-78 road victory at the BankUnited Center. The Garnet and Gold will now turn their attention to two huge home ACC matchups this week. First on Thursday evening at 7pm the Seminoles will host the NC State Wolf Pack for Paint it Pink. Come out and support the team as they wear pink jerseys to raise awareness for the Sharon Ewing Walker Breast Health Center and Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare. The 9th ranked Florida State Baseball team opens their 2013 campaign against the Rhode Island Rams this Friday at Dick Howser Stadium. First pitch is set for 4 p.m. The Noles will also hit the field on Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 12 p.m. to finish out their weekend series. Pick up the 2013 poster and schedule card this weekend.
Men's Tennis
The No. 28 Florida State men's tennis team (9-2) lost its first match at home this season against No. 11 Florida (6-0) on Saturday. The Seminoles pulled out two singles win at the packed Scott Speicher Tennis Center including an upset and come-from-behind win but lost the tight match 5-2. The team has next week off and will take on Pepperdine at Bradenton, Fla. at the IMG Academy on February 24
Women's Tennis
Sophomore Daneika Borthwick was named ACC Player of the Week on February 5th by the league office after picking up her sixth win over a ranked opponent this year. Borthwick and The No. 29 ranked Florida State Women's tennis team will open home play this weekend as they take on UCF Friday at 3 p.m. and Georgia State Sunday at 1 p.m. Come out to Scott Speicher Tennis Center and cheer on your Noles!
Softball
The 24th ranked softball team opened up the season in convincing fashion this past week dominating the panhandle invitational. The Noles are back home again this weekend hosting another tournament- the Unconquered Invitational. Arkansas, Tulsa and Hofstra come to Tallahassee. Games begin Friday at 12:15pm when the Noles take on Tulsa, followed by Arkansas at 2:30pm. On Saturday the Noles take on Hofstra (12:15pm) and the tournament will continue on that night and into Sunday. Come out to the Seminole Softball complex- Admission is FREE!
Women's Golf
Will host the Florida State Match Up this weekend at Southwood Golf Club. Twelve teams will tee off in twosomes for the first two rounds and then in a final round shotgun in threesomes. The twosomes will consist of the partner teams playing together and for this year the partners are as follows: Florida State/Texas A&M, Oklahoma/Georgia, Notre Dame/Michigan, Tennessee/Texas San Antonio, Furman/Kansas, and UNC Greensboro/UNC Wilmington. Tee time is set for 8:30am on Friday and Saturday and a 8:00am shotgun on Sunday.
Men's Golf
The No. 23 Florida State men's golf team won the SunTrust Gator Invitational Sunday for the first time since 1981 with a team score of 8-under 832. The team won by 15 strokes at the Mark Bostick Golf Course on the University of Florida. Sophomore Daniel Berger won the individual title for the first time in his career.

Seminole fans, make sure to tune in this Saturday, Feb. 9 as two new episodes of "FSU First Look" hit the air on Sun Sports. First at 11:30 a.m., "FSU First Look" will preview both the men's and women's golf teams, and also the sand volleyball team. That show will re-air at 7:30 p.m. followed at 8 p.m. by another "FSU First Look" highlighting the men's and women's tennis teams. "FSU First Look" is an award-winning series of shows dedicated to previewing Florida State athletic teams. The shows are produced by Seminole Productions for Fox Sports. This series of shows has won numerous awards and has even been nominated for an Emmy.
Also airing throughout the month of February is "Seminole GameTime: Orange Bowl." This show is an all-access behind-the-scenes look at the Seminole football team as they live it up in South Florida and ring in the new year with a BCS Bowl victory. Seminole GameTime, which is Seminole Productions' series of exclusive behind-the-scenes shows, has also won numerous awards and has gathered an Emmy nomination as well.

Led by junior forward Natasha Howard's double-double, the 19th ranked Florida State women's basketball team (18-4, 8-3 in the ACC) picked up its ninth consecutive win over Clemson, 83-61, on Sunday at the Tucker Center. Howard, who scored 19 points and grabbed 11 boards, became the 28th Seminole to score 1,000 career points when she drilled a free throw at the 11:01 mark in the first half. The Seminoles will hit the road this Sunday as they face the Miami Hurricanes for a 2:05pm tip in Coral Gables. The Garnet and Gold will return home Thursday, February 14th at 7pm as they host the NC State Wolf Pack for Paint it Pink. Women's Tennis
For the first time since 2009, the 29th ranked Florida State women's tennis team defeated USF. The Seminoles conquered three ranked opponents between singles and doubles to capture a 6-1 victory at the USF Varsity Tennis Courts. The Seminoles will take a little break from competition before returning home for two matches. Florida State will host UCF on Feb. 15 before taking on Georgia State on Feb. 17
Men's Tennis
The No. 29 Florida State men's tennis team (9-1) had a successful Saturday by defeating both FAU and Mercer 7-0. The Seminoles went on to win 18 of 18 matches and only lost two sets on the day. The last time the team started with a 9-1 record was in 2010. Florida State takes on No. 11 Florida next Saturday at noon, Free pizza will be provide while supplies last and the first 20 fans will receive a free tshirt!
Softball
The 24th ranked softball team opens up their 2103 season this weekend. The Noles take on FAMU, Friday at 6pm. On Saturday the Noles take on UNF (12pm) and on Sunday Bethune Cookman (1pm) and Jacksonville (5pm). Come out to the Seminole Softball complex- Admission is FREE!
