FSU adds tight end Kevin Haplea from Penn State

Florida State officially landed Penn State transfer Kevin Haplea after the former Nittany Lions tight end elected to transfer from the school.

Because of the NCAA sanctions placed upon PSU, Haplea will be eligible to play for the Seminoles right away. I'll have a full updated on him and the rest of the tight ends in Friday's camp preview but for now you can read up on the background of EJ Manuel's newest offensive weapon before he came to Tallahassee.

Here is a link to his that was on Penn State's official roster before his transfer: Haplea College Bio

And here is his recruiting profile from Rivals.com when he was a three-star prospect in the 2010 class (side note: you'll notice that Haplea was offered by Florida State and recruited by Seminoles assistant coach James Coley when he was a high school prospect): Haplea Recruiting Bio
