Perhaps it's a sign that the Washington Wizards won't re-sign Yi Jianlian. According to the Wizards' official website, former Florida State men's basketball player Chris Singleton will wear No. 31 for his new professional team.
Jianlian wore Singleton's number last year and is still on the roster but it seems clear he will not be re-signed or will be traded in a sign-and-trade.
Singleton, who was Washington's first-round draft pick this year, wore No. 31 for the Seminoles for three seasons.
