A pair of former Florida State football players will lace up their cleats for a Sunday game for the first time this season.
After being cut by the Carolina Panthers before the season started, Everette Brown was signed Tuesday by the San Diego Chargers. Brown, a defensive end, was a second-round pick by the Panthers in 2009 and joins a Chargers team that boasts former FSU teammate Richard Goodman.
Mister Alexander has been ont he Houston Texans' practice squad after going undrafted earlier this year but he has been brought up to the active roster. Alexander was called up to the big leagues to replace injured linebacker Darryl Sharpton, who is a former player at Miami.
