    FSU football pitches shut out? You know what that means

    It's been a tradition at Florida State since 1993.

    Every time the Seminoles register a shut out on the football field, FSU Director of Baseball Operations Chip Baker delivers a baseball with a nail driven into it to the football coaches.

    After the 'Noles posted a 34-0 win over NC State this past weekend, here's a shot of the celebratory baseball marking the occasion -- with a little Halloween flavor:
