The most important reason is to help create the kind of atmosphere the team faced at Oklahoma last Saturday. There is no doubt that you can make a difference.
FSU's marketing office and Seminole Boosters have a host of activities set for the weekend. Plan on starting your Seminole weekend at the swimming pentathlon meet at the Russ Morcom Aquatics Center near the Seminole Golf Course on Friday at 3:30 p.m. The meet should wrap up just in time for you to head to the new Block Party at Kleman Plaza in downtown Tallahassee where Seminoles fans will be whooping it up from 5-10 p.m.
Game day is filled with excitement on Saturday. Longtime FSU fans can see some of the FSU greats of the past when Ron Sellers, Barry Smith and all the players of the Coach Bill Peterson era return to campus for a reunion and pregame recognition. In addition, it is Military Appreciation Day at Doak Campbell Stadium and armed services groups from through northwest Florida have been offered reduced rate tickets to be a part of Seminole football. Finally, you will not want to miss the official presentation of FSU's Learfield Trophy in recognition of being one of the Top Five overall athletic programs in the country last year.
Florida State and BYU on the football field speaks for itself, but experts are expecting an up and down the field affair with two of the nation's most innovative offenses.
