With the start of the 2009 NFL season tonight we wanted to update you on some of the latest news concerning former Florida State Seminoles now playing in the league.
- According to their official website, the Arizona Cardinals are confident that Anquan Boldin will be able to play in the opener this weekend against the San Fransisco 49ers. Boldin did not practice yesterday but told FSN Tuesday night that he "most definitly" would play this weekend.
- Travis Johnson is glad to be back in California as a member of the San Diego Chargers. The Chargers have welcomed Johnson with open arms and he hopes to show the Houston Texans that they made a big mistake by trading him.
- It is not looking good for Lawrence Timmons to make the start tonight for the Pittsburgh Steelers in their home opener against the Titans. Timmons missed practice again on Wednesday, the third consecutive day he was out.
