For the eighth time in program history and the seventh time this decade, Florida State will line up to play with less than a week between games today against Jacksonville State. FSU is 6-1 in such games in Bobby Bowden's 34 seasons and have won the last four. The lone loss came on the road in overtime to Louisville in 2002. Despite the limited preparation time, following Monday's 38-34 loss to Miami, the Seminoles hope to continue their successful trend in quick-turnaround games. FSU has out-scored its opponents 267-101 in the seven previous games. The 'Noles are 4-0 at Doak Campbell Stadium and 2-1 on the road.
