TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Seminoles.com) – Season tickets for the 2014-15 Florida State women’s basketball season are now available on Seminoles.com and once again offer two affordable choices for what is expected to be an exciting season of Seminole hoops.
The upcoming women’s basketball season is highlighted by an infusion of young talent and quality depth, coupled with an enhanced game-day atmosphere courtesy of several renovations at the Donald L. Tucker Center.
“We are excited about the upcoming season with a very talented group of returners and some fantastic new additions,” FSU head coach Sue Semrau said. “Our team is eager to get back on the court at the newly renovated Tucker Center. We have put together a tough non-conference schedule that should certainly prepare us to compete in the ACC, the best conference in the country for women’s basketball.”
One of the appealing season-ticket deals is the Family Pack plan, a package that includes two adult season tickets and two youth season tickets for only $99. Additional youth tickets to the family pack can be added for only $15.
Fans can also purchase individual season tickets, with the costs being just $50 for an adult, $25 for seniors and $25 for youth.
Current season ticket holders are urged to renew their season tickets by Oct. 1. Renewing by that priority deadline will allow season ticket holders to enjoy exclusive benefits like attending the FSU Women’s Basketball open house, meet and greets and much more.
Also, fans who renew or purchase their season tickets by Oct. 1 will be automatically entered to get their season tickets delivered in person by members of the team.
With the Atlantic Coast Conference being the premier league for women’s basketball, Florida State fans will be in for another exciting home schedule against some of the nation’s best teams. Defending NCAA Elite Eight participant Louisville, the ACC’s newest addition, visits the Donald L. Tucker Center. Other conference opponents on the home schedule include Miami, Duke, NC State, Pitt, Syracuse, Clemson and Wake Forest.
In-state rival Florida is also scheduled to play the Seminoles in Tallahassee, helping make the upcoming home slate an appealing one. Florida State will host at least five teams who made the NCAA Tournament from a season ago.
A full schedule with dates and times will be made available at a later date. Also, an in-depth press release announcing the facility upgrades at the Donald L. Tucker Center will be made at a later time.
