Seminoles.com | July 16, 2017

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Seminoles.com) – Season ticket renewals and new sales begin on Monday, July 17, at noon for the 2017-18 Florida State Women's Basketball season. Fans looking to renew and/or purchase new season tickets can visit Seminoles.com or call the FSU Athletics Ticket Office at 888-FSU-NOLE (378-6653).

The one-year ticket promotion for the 2017-18 FSU Women's Hoops season places an emphasis on getting youth actively involved in the upcoming year. For children ages 18 and under, season tickets are a flat $15 for reserved or general admission seating. The reserved sections for the 2017-18 season will be the same as last year, occurring in center-court sections 112, 113, 114 and 102, 101 and 124.

Adult and senior citizen season ticket pricing will be kept the same as last year. The reserved section seating is $75 for adults and $50 for seniors.

For current season ticket holders, the renewal deadline is Friday, Sept. 15.

"Our season ticket campaign this year celebrates our youth,” FSU head coach Sue Semrau said. “We love that so many families passionately support us. This year we are running a promotion to encourage families and individuals to bring more young fans to the games. We look forward to pouring into a new generation that bleeds Garnet and Gold.”

While Florida State's ACC schedule is not expected to be announced until early September, the Seminoles have their non-conference schedule mapped out. Highlighting FSU's six non-conference home games is a 2015 NCAA Elite Eight rematch with Arizona State on Sunday, Dec. 10.

FSU has five other non-conference home games against UNF (Nov. 10), Sacred Heart (Nov. 24), Samford (Nov. 26), Stetson (Dec. 7) and Jacksonville (Dec. 28). Game times will be announced at a later date.

The Seminoles have maintained themselves as a Top 10 program nationally, being one of just seven Division I schools to make multiple NCAA Elite Eight appearances since 2015. Florida State returns marquee senior All-America forward Shakayla Thomas, ACC Sixth Player of the Year and senior center Chatrice White and redshirt senior sharp-shooting guard Imani Wright.

Also back in the Garnet and Gold are senior center Ama Degbeon, sophomore guards Nicki Ekhomu and Nausia Woolfolk as well as redshirt freshman forward Iho Lopez.

A new four-member group includes graduate transfer point guard AJ Alix, TCU's leading scorer and an All-Big 12 selection. Freshman guards Savannah Wilkinson and Sayawni “Say Say” Lassiter join FSU too, as well as redshirt sophomore forward Kiah Gillespie from Maryland who will sit this year due to NCAA transfer rules.
