Kelly Borges, a native of Visalia, CA, joined the Florida State Strength and Conditioning staff as a Graduate Assistant in May of 2016 and is pursuing her Master's in Sport Management. Kelly works specifically with the Women's Soccer team incorporating cutting edge technology to aid in improving athletic performance.
Prior to joining FSU, Kelly received her undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology from Baylor University. During her time at Baylor, she gained experience working with the Acrobatics and Tumbling team as they won a second national championship, various teams such as: Men's & Women's Golf, Women's Tennis, Women's Soccer, Football, and elite and professional athletes at a USOC affiliate in Geneva, OH.
In 2012, Kelly began her 4 year stint of coaching softball for both Vanguard College Preparatory High School and travel softball team, Texas Stix. As head coach for VCPHS she guided the team as they earning multiple conference championships as well as state championship.
Before moving to Texas to complete her undergraduate degree, Kelly competed in collegiate athletics as a member of the Dominican University of California softball team. Implementing her experiences, Kelly aims to develop her athletes to succeed at the highest level possible in the weight room, on the playing field, in the classroom, and in life.
