Brandon Joyner enters his 3rd year as Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Men's and Women's Golf and Track and Field teams. Coach Joyner was a middle distance and cross-country runner at Valdosta State University, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Athletic Training. After spending 3 years as a Certified Athletic Trainer, he shifted his focus to Strength and Conditioning, breaking 4 USPA State Powerlifting records and 3 APA State Powerlifting Records in the process. Joyner works closely with FSU's coaching staffs to ensure that their athletes continually see tangible improvements, not just athletically, but specifically in their sporting results. While at FSU, Brandon has coached the #1 ranked Men’s Golf team in the nation 2 years in a row, 6 athletes to Olympic A Standard marks, including one Bronze medalist in Rio, 2 Individual NCAA National Champions, 2 ACC Championship teams, 1 National Record Holder, 1 Symetra Tour Pro, 1 Web.com Tour Pro, 8 of FSU's school record holders, and both Men’s and Women’s Golf have achieved their highest national rankings in program history.
