Florida State Drops To Virginia 4-0

The Seminoles lost to No. 1-seed Virginia Friday morning in the quarterfinals.

Freshman Year: Spring - Went 15-7 in singles play and 19-10 in doubles...finished year with a 23-10 singles record...one of three players to finish with 20-plus wins...held an impressive 10-5 record on court six...was 10-6 in doubles with Michael Rinaldi and 9-4 with Marco Nunez...clinched the Seminoles upset win over No. 18 Wake Forest as he won in the third set 6-4. Fall - Went 8-3 in singles play and 2-2 in doubles...reached the semifinals of the Bedford Cup where he lost to teammate Cristian Gonzalez Mendez...played in the round of 16 at the USTA Clay Court Invitational at Disney...reached the semifinals of doubles at the Bedford Cup with Michael Rinaldi.
