Junior Year (2002-03) Fall 2002 Season: Advanced to the doubles B draw semifinals in the Seminole Fall Classic with teammate Alex Herrera…opened the fall season winning his first two singles matches in the Seminole Fall Classic…won seven of his last eight doubles matches with Alex Herrera, including seven in a row…advanced to the singles round of 16 at the ITA Region II Championships…finished the fall with a doubles record of 10-3…had a team-high eight singles wins during the fall season…one of three Seminoles to play 10 or more matches during the fall.

Sophomore Year (2001-02): Boasted the team-best 30-11 (.732) overall singles record in 2002, which marked the third best single season win total in FSU history…provided a solid performance at the No. 2 position in dual match action for the Seminoles…went 1-0 at each of the No. 1 and 3 spots and 10-7 at No. 2 position…participated in five preseason tournaments in 2002…won the singles draw at the Southern Collegiate Championships and advanced to the quarterfinals of both the ITA Men’s All-American Championships and the Omni Hotels Atlantic Region Championships…provided support in doubles for the Seminoles after a 13-5 performance in 2002 dual match play…saw action at all three doubles positions but was most impressive at the No. 3 spot where he went 12-4 with teammate Gustav Bucht.

Freshman Year (2000-01): Started off his collegiate career at Florida State with a win in his first tournament of the fall season at the Southern Intercollegiates...won his first career doubles match at the Seminole Fall Classic with teammate Jarrod Owen advancing them to the final round of doubles competition...had a successful spring season start on a four match winning streak...went 4-4 playing at the No. 2 singles position and 1-0 at the No. 2 doubles position...made an immediate impact on the team...named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.

High school and other Accomplishments: Ranked in the top ten for juniors in the 18 and under division in France...played in the quarterfinals in the National French Championship…played in the Orange Bowl Tennis Tournament in Miami.

Personal: Son of Bernard Jurd and Francoise Margo...mother, Francoise, was his first coach at the age of five…celebrates a November 21, 1982 birthday…major is international business.
