FSU Men's Tennis Defeats Stetson
Seminoles roll to a 7-0 victory.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- The Florida State men's tennis team, ranked No. 36, (1-0) opened up the 1998 dual match season by defeating Stetson 7-0.
Florida State swept all six singles matches and won two of the three doubles matches to claim victory over the Hatters. No. 1 singles player Ty Braswell led the way with a straight set victory over Marcus Anderson 6-0, 6-4. Braswell also teamed with Yvo Niks to take the No. 1 doubles match, 8-2, from Aleksandar Nicin and Christopher Boss.
Also winning in singles action were Yvo Niks (No.2), Michael Ingham (No.3), Steve Weinstein (No.4), Jay Travis (No. 5) and Chad Mooney (No.6). The other Seminoles doubles victory came from Michael Ingham and Chad Mooney at No. 3.
