Former Seminole Elise Walch was named as the female recipient for the Muscle Milk Athlete of the Year
FSU went undefeated in exhibition matches while qualifying four players for the U.S. Collegiate National Team.
Members of the FSU indoor volleyball team will participate in the U.S. Women's National Team open tryouts.
Florida State will host LSU and South Carolina on Saturday in a spring exhibition event.
Following a Sweet 16 run in the NCAA Tournament, the Seminoles finish 2013 at No. 11 in the AVCA poll.

SENIOR YEAR (2013)
-Capped off her career with a solid senior season from the right side, earning AVCA All-American honorable mention accolades, AVCA All-Region honors on top of being named to the All-ACC Second Team.
-Had a career day in the 3-2 comeback win over (then No. 7) Michigan at the Texas A&M Tournament, where she accounted for 22 kills. Along with her sister Nicole (23), the Walch's became the first duo since 2007 to punch 20+ kills each in a match.
-For her efforts, Walch was named to the Four Points by Sheraton Seminole Invite and Texas A&M Invitational All-Tournament Teams.
-While hitting a minimum of 10 kills, Walch hit above .500 percent five times in 2013.
-Helped the Seminoles take down four ranked opponents by hitting in double figures (Western Kentucky, Michigan, Duke, Florida).
-Was named as the ACC Player of the Week on Oct. 21 following her performances against Miami and Norte Dame. In the 3-1 win over the Hurricanes, Walch spearheaded the attack from the right side with 17 kills, while hitting .448. Walch was even more efficient as the Noles swept the Irish in South Bend, Ind., 3-0. She had a 12 kills, hitting .556 on the day.
JUNIOR YEAR (2012) AT FSU:
-Ended her season on the right note with a career-high 16-kill performance against Purdue in the NCAA second round
-Hampered through much of the season due to a leg injury
-Played in 22 matches and started 18 at right-side hitter
-Recorded 135 kills and averaged 2.05 kills per set
-Put together 12 kills at Miami on Sept. 7
-Recorded 11 kills versus Iowa State on Aug. 25 along with a season-best six blocks
-Had 10 kills against Duke on Sept. 30
SOPHOMORE YEAR (2011) AT FSU:
-ACC Co-Player of the Week (Sept. 19)
-Finished third on the team with 235 kills and 2.06 kills per set
-One of five Seminoles to combine for double-digit kills in Minneapolis Region wins over No. 5 Purdue and No. 4 Iowa, tallying 18 kills
-Responsible for the top two individual hitting percentages by FSU in 2011, recording a .706 clip on 12 kills versus Miami and a .611 mark on 12 kills against Duke
-Finished with 72 total blocks and averaged 0.63 blocks per set
-Connected on 10 of her last 12 swings in her season-best performance against Miami, which earned her an ACC weekly honor
-Put together a season-high 16 kills against nationally-ranked Northern Iowa on Sept. 2, recording a .355 hitting percentage.
-Amassed 10 double-digit kill performances, including two in the NCAA postseason against Cincinnati and Purdue
-Season-high six blocks in FSU's five-set wins over Wake Forest and N.C. State
FRESHMAN YEAR (2010) AT WISCONSIN:
-Finished second on the Badgers with 2.56 kills per set
-Played in 28 matches overall and had 10 double-digit kill matches
-Recorded a career-best 19 kills vs. Seton Hall
-Tallied season-high four blocks against Loyola
-Most Valuable Player of William & Mary Tournament
-Teamed with Katie Mosher and sister Nicole Walch to help the USA Volleyball A2 Junior Nation Team to a championship at the European Global Challenge in July
-One of four Seminoles to compete at the U.S. Women's National Volleyball Team open tryouts in Feb. 2011
