Auburn, Ala. - Florida State's final match of the spring soccer season was cancelled Friday evening as forecasts were predicting bad weather in the Auburn-Opeika area around game time on Saturday evening.

The Seminoles finished the spring season with a 1-0 mark as they defeated Georgia back on February 24. FSU's final two matches against Florida and Auburn were cancelled.

In FSU's lone match against the Bulldogs, Florida State's Sarah Wagenfuhr found the back of the net off a corner kick service in the first 30 minutes of action, while Mami Yamaguchi contributed two more goals to seal the Seminole victory.

The Seminoles will begin their quest for a third straight College Cup appearance as they open the 2007 season in Portland on September 1 against the Pilots.
