Tallahassee, Fla. - In Part II of Senior Takes, Seminoles.com recently sat down with Libby Gianeskis and Holly Peltzer and took a closer look at the time they have spent at Florida State over the last four years. Here is what they had to say...

By Melissa Wheeler, FSU Sports Information

Libby Gianeskis
Senior ~ Defender
Tarpon Springs, FL

How has your life changed in the four years that you have been at Florida State?
I have definitely done a lot of personal growing and maturing. I have realized that school is important and taking pride in that as well as taking pride in soccer. People always say that college is really where you find yourself, and I have found that to be true, and I'm ready to go out into the real world now.

How have you seen yourself grow since arriving on campus your freshman year?
I have grown to trust the Lord in everything.

How has it felt to play for a nationally ranked program?
It feels like an accomplishment. Coming into college I wanted to be part of a successful program, and FSU was starting to put themselves on the map when I was coming into school. It's a pleasure to be part of a program that is continuing to do well.

How does it feel to know that you have helped keep the program at its elite status and as one of the top programs in the nation?
I feel blessed to be able to be part of this program and I am very proud of how we have done the last few years and the success that we had. I am blessed to have been able to contribute, and I am so proud to say that I have played for this program and these coaches.

What has been your greatest moment at Florida State and what kind of lasting impression will it leave on you?
I will always remember just the everyday part of the game, going to practice and being with such wonderful girls. I love working hard everyday at practice and spending time in the locker room will be times I never forget. I will always remember when everybody is going out on the field and how could you forget the music always playing and the dance off's that go on in the locker room.

Holly Peltzer has scored nine career goals in her four years at Florida State.

How has your life changed in the four or three years that you have been at Florida State?
I don't think it has changed that much but I have definitely become more mature, and more independent. My personality has stayed the same, but I have a different outlook on life, people, and friends.

How have you seen yourself grow since arriving on campus your freshman year?
I have grown in which I have learned how to balance my priorities in life and my future. School has become my main priority, and focusing on my career as aspirations.

How has it felt to play for a nationally ranked program?
It feels awesome. Anybody would love to be in our position. I feel that everybody has worked hard and all the hard work has paid off. We are also lucky because we have got to travel around the U.S. to different places.

How does it feel to know that you have helped keep the program at its elite status and as one of the top programs in the nation?
It's amazing, especially being part of women's athletics as it is becoming more noticed and respected in the U.S. Right when I came in my freshman year is when we started to make a name for ourselves, and its feels good to not be an underdog and compete for national titles.

What has been your greatest moment at Florida State and what kind of lasting impression will it leave on you?
My greatest moment was scoring two goals against UF. UF is our rival, and my parents and friends have gone to that school, and it was also a school I was looking at, so it was a huge game for me. Also having 5,000 people watching you was really exciting. I think I only came in with 20 minutes left in the game; I was just really excited to make an impact. I got a ball over the top, and I was able to cut it back from the defender and shot it with my left foot and chipped it over the keeper. Then I got another through ball and was able to hit it over the keeper who was off her line. After I scored the goals I was ecstatic, and I threw my arms up and ran to the closest person to me. The first goal I was like `oh my gosh I did it', and after I scored the second goal it gave us some breathing room which allowed us to relax and just play soccer.
