TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - With the mentality that every game matters, Florida State's Jessica Price was on a mission this past weekend in leading the Seminoles into the third round of the 2009 NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament.

Price scored three goals in two games including the game winner in each of FSU's victories over Southeastern Louisiana and California. For her performance, Price earned national recognition claiming Team of the Week accolades from TopDrawerSoccer.com and CollegeSoccer360.com.

The Libertyville, Ill., native opened the NCAA Tournament in fine fashion with two goals in the first 14 minutes of action to stake FSU to an early 2-0 lead against Southeastern Louisiana. She tied a career-high with her fourth two-goal performance of the season.

In the second round, Price broke a scoreless tie in the 34th minute of action against California connecting on her third goal of the weekend off a pass from Amanda DaCosta. The redshirt sophomore forward accounted for both game-winning goals in the opening weekend of the NCAA Tournament pushing her season total to seven which leads the ACC.

Price closed out the weekend with six shots including four shots on goal in over 126 minutes of action.
