FSU Men's Tennis Travels To Miami For Miami Team Tournament

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida State men's tennis team will travel to Miami, Fla. this weekend for their second tournament of the fall season. The Seminoles are coming off a strong performance in the annual Seminole Fall Classic.

Sophomores Mat Cloer and Romain Jurd are both coming off 3-1 performances at the ITA All-American Championships last weekend in Chattanooga, Tn. Cloer and Jurd fell just short in the qualifying round of 32. Hagen Endler reached the semifinals in the singles Flight B draw of the Seminole Fall Classic and will look to continue his early success.

Competition will begin on Friday morning at 9 a.m. for the Seminoles. FSU will have Saturday off before concluding the tournament of Sunday. With Saturday being the off day, the men's tennis team will be in attendance of the Florida State-Miami football game at the Orange Bowl.

The tournament is being held October 11-13 at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center at the University of Miami.
