TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The 2010 spring soccer exhibition schedule continues this Thursday, March 25 at 7:00 p.m. at the Seminole Soccer Complex as the Florida State Women's Soccer team plays host to the Atlanta Beat of the Women's Professional Soccer League.

This will mark the second time the Garnet and Gold will take on a professional opponent this spring, as they fell to the defending league champions, Sky Blue on March 17. Heading into Thursday's match, FSU is coming off a win over in-state rival Florida, who they beat 3-2 down in Melbourne, Fla.

Fans will have a lot to look forward on Thursday as they will not only be able to see their Noles in action, but the match also marks the return of former Seminole soccer standout Mami Yamaguchi who will be playing for Atlanta.

Yamaguchi led the Seminoles to the national finals in 2007, the same year she set single-season records for goals (24), assists (18) and points (66). As a junior, Yamaguchi became the first Seminole to win National Player of the Year honors as she was the recipient of the 2007 MAC Hermann Trophy.

On Thursday, Yamaguchi will be honored by head coach Mark Krikorian and her former teammates for her contributes to the Seminole Soccer Program.

So far this spring the Noles have put together a solid spring record as they are 3-1 posting victories over Nebraska, Georgia and Florida. Admission for Thursday's contest is free, so fans are encouraged to come out and see their Noles in action against the worlds finest as well as celebrate the return of former Seminole great Mami Yamaguchi.
