Women's Golf in Ninth Place After Two Rounds

BATON ROUGE, LA--The Florida State women's golf team is in ninth place after two rounds of the LSU-Fairwood Invitational at the Fairwood Country Club. The Lady Seminole team score of 621 is four strokes behind Tulane University and seven back of Arkansas-Little Rock and Texas Tech.

The Lady Seminoles are led by junior Amy Bond. Bond posted a round of 75 today to move into an 11th place tie at 151 with six other golfers. Amy Spooner fired a 78 in today's round, tying her for 23rd at 153. Erika Iding rebounded from an 84 yesterday with a 74 today. She is currently tied for 51st. Louise Wright and Sarah Capie rounded out the scoring for the Lady Seminoles, standing tied for 57th and 62nd, respectively.

The final round of the LSU-Fairwood Invitational will take place tomorrow.
