No. 36 Florida State Men's Tennis Improves to 7-0

MOBILE, Ala. - The Florida State men's tennis team moved their mark to 7-0 on the season with a 4-3 victory over No. 13 South Alabama Tuesday in Mobile.
After being swept in doubles, the Noles rebounded to take four of the six singles matches and the victory. Leading the way was No. 1 singles player Ty Braswell who beat John James in straight sets 7-5 ,6-4. Yvo Niks, who continued his perfect play in singles to improve to 7-0, defeated No. 3 Johan Westberg in three sets 6-1, 2-6, 6-4.
Other winners for the Seminoles at singles were Alex Golub at No. 2 and Steve Weinstein at No. 3.
The Seminoles take the court again on February 21st when they face Florida Atlantic at the Scott Speicher Tennis Center at noon.
