On the day, the Seminoles jumped out to an early advantage taking four of the six singles matches. No. 1 Nanette Duxin defeated Christelle Ursulet 6-3, 6-2 and Ali Weber, playing No. 2 for the first time in three matches, defeated Xenia Uy in three sets 3-6, 6-2, 6-3.
