FRESHMAN (2016): Appeared in 31 games (the most amongst pitchers) and threw 32.1 innings and struck out 37 while working a 2.78 ERA…ended the season with a team-best 5-0 record…began his collegiate career on February 19 against Rhode Island where he put in an inning of work and struck out three…struck out a season-high four batters on March 8 against USF after pitching 2.0 innings and garnering his first collegiate career win…notched his second win of the season in a game against Georgia Tech on March 12 when he threw a season-high 3.2 innings without allowing a run and only surrendering one hit…named to the 2016 All-ACC Academic Team…placed on the ACC Academic Honor Roll for Student-Athletes…played summer ball for the Amsterdam Mohawks in the Perfect Game League where he finished the summer with 15 appearances, an ERA of 0.76, 38 strikeouts, and a pair of saves.
