Champions Auction Flyer
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Seminole Boosters and the Florida State athletics department announces the sixth annual Champions Auction (formerly Let Us Play) for women’s sports. The auction and appetizer event will be held the weekend of the Virginia football game on Friday, November 7 at 5:30 p.m. at Florida State’s University Center Club.
“We are excited to host the Champions Auction for the sixth straight year,” said Director of Athletics Stan Wilcox. “This is a great event that supports the Coaches’ Clubs for each of our women’s sports at Florida State. It is a fun night that has received amazing support from the Seminole community in the past. We are looking forward to another impressive turnout in November.”
This auction will be attended by Seminole fans and supporters, sports enthusiasts and community members. Our guests enjoy the evening getting pictures with athletes, meeting coaches, cheerleaders and golden girls, enjoying refreshments and bidding on all of the exciting items.
The evening has both a silent and live auction where the proceeds will go directly to supporting the Coaches’ Clubs for each of the 11 women’s sports at Florida State. Coaches’ Club funds provide supplemental support to each sport team by funding necessary items that are not covered in the sport’s annual operating budget.
Organizations can help with the continued success of both our academic and athletic programs by contributing items, services or cash to the Champions Auction event. Sports help women to be healthier, happier, more confident, stronger, and as a result, more successful in the workplace. Please consider helping the female student-athletes who rely on your support to build their programs and ultimately to help them become successful in life.
