ON BERWICK: Was granted his release from Florida State on April 8, 2016 as he announced his intentions to transfer from Florida State…fully academically and athletically eligible when he made his decision to leave the Seminole basketball program…became of member of the basketball team at Colorado State on May 17, 2016…enjoyed a solid freshman season during which he played in all 33 of Florida State’s games…progressed well during his first season in Tallahassee and played his best basketball during the ACC portion of the Seminoles’ season…played in each of Florida State’s 33 games including each of the Seminoles’ 18 ACC games and both of the team’s games in the ACC Tournament during his productive freshman season in 2014-15…the Seminoles third-leading 3-point shooter with 19 made 3-point field goals as a freshman…averaged 10.9 minutes of playing time and started three games (against The Citadel, Charleston Southern and Nebraska in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge) during his freshman season…scored in double figures twice as a freshman as he displayed his incredible ability to score the basketball with 11 points in his career debut against Manhattan (Nov. 15) and his career and ACC high of 13 points in Florida State’s victory over Virginia Tech in Tallahassee (Jan. 6)…an exceedingly talented athlete who is one of the most decorated student-athletes in the history of San Luis Obispo County in California…a four –year starter at the guard position for the varsity basketball team…earned All-State honors in both football and basketball during his senior season…earned All-State First Team Grid/Hoopers recognition by CalHiSports.com as one of the top five all-stars in the sports of football and basketball…one of only five Central California Coast players named to the All-KSBY TV All-Star teams in both basketball and football…earned the First Year Academic Achievement Award from the Seminoles’ coaching staff at Florida State’s 2015 Honors Banquet…

AS A SOPHOMORE (2016): A redshirt season…did not play in any games because of injuries…

AS A FRESHMAN (2015): Averaged 2.4 points (eighth on the team), 1.0 rebounds (tied for 10th) and 0.7 assists (fifth) while playing in all 33 games during his first season as a freshman…one of 10 players on the team to average in double figure minutes played per game (10.9 mpg) and earned double figure minutes in 16 of the Florida State’s 33 games…Florida State’s third leading 3-point shooter with 19 made shots from the bonusphere as he was one of only three Seminoles with double digit 3-point shots made during the 2014-15 season…also third on the team with 63 3-point shots attempted and a .302 shooting mark from long range…earned three starts as a freshman with starting assignments coming against The Citadel (Nov. 25), Charleston Southern (Nov. 28) and in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge against Nebraska (Dec. 1)…averaged 3.3 points, 20.0 minutes played per game and 1.3 steals as he helped Florida State to a 2-1 record as a starter…played his career high of 28 minutes as a starter in the Seminoles’ 66-55 victory over The Citadel…also earned his career-high of three steals against The Citadel…totaled his career-high of 13 points in Florida State’s ACC victory over Virginia Tech in Tallahassee (Jan. 6)…made his career high of five field goals, attempted his career-high of eight field goals, made his career high of two 3-point field goals, pulled down his career high of three offensive rebounds, made his career high of three defensive rebounds and totaled his career high of six total rebounds against the Hokies in helping Florida State to its 86-75 victory at home…double figures for the first time in his career came in his debut as a Seminoles with 11 points against Manhattan (Nov. 15) in the Seminoles’ 2014-15 season opener…was one of six Florida State players to score in double figures (and the only Seminole player to score in double figures off of the bench) in the Seminoles’ 81-66 win over the Jaspers…made his career-high of two 3-point shots and three free throws in the victory…entered his first career game at the 11:58 mark of the first half against Manhattan…made his first career free throw attempt (at the 6:15 mark of the first half to put the Seminoles up 24-17) and made his first career field goal attempt (a 3-pointer at the 0:23 mark to put Florida State up 37-31)…scored six points on a career-high tying two made 3-point shots in Florida State’s win over UCF in Tallahassee (Dec. 6)…his career high of four assists led directly to eight points in the Seminoles’ 96-73 victory…scored seven points each at Syracuse (Jan. 11) and against Boston College in Tallahassee (Feb. 18)…a breakout night against Duke on national television (ESPN) with two long distance 3-point shots as the Seminoles worked to climb back into the game…

AS A SOPHOMORE (2016): Did not played in any of the Seminoles’ first 34 games of the season and will apply for a medical redshirt season..

AT ATASCADERO: Graduated from Atascadero High School in 2013…averaged 15.9 points, 6.5 assists and 4.5 rebounds in his four seasons as a member of the Greyhounds varsity basketball team…totaled 1,750 career points and 500 assists as a member of the Greyhound varsity over four seasons…named the North County Player of the Year and named the Most Valuable Player of the PAC 7 conference as a senior…a two-time county Player of the Year by the Tribune News of San Luis Obispo County…led Atascadero to three league championships – two in basketball and one in football – during his career…named to the Southern Section All-League team by Max Preps…a three star recruit by Rivals.com and Scout.com…averaged a career-high 19.6 points, a career-high 4.6 assists and 4.8 rebounds in leading Atascadero to the quarterfinals of the 2014 CIF Southern Section state playoffs as a senior…was the team’s senior leader who helped the Greyhounds to a 24-6 record and a perfect league mark of 12-0 during his senior season…led the PAC 7 in assists and was fifth in scoring during his senior season… his career high of 35 points came in a 78-65 win over Arroyo Grande…totaled 26 points in leading Atascadero to a 69-62 victory over Campbell Hall…scored 26 points to lead all scorers in a 63-54 win by the Greyhounds against Paso Robles as a senior…scored 24 points and added two assists against Servite and totaled 23 points, nine assists and four rebounds in a victory over Leuzinger…averaged 17.5 points, 6.2 assists and 3.9 rebounds as he led Atascadero to a share of the PAC 7 basketball championship as a junior…one of the Male Athletes of the Year in the State of California as a junior as named by CalHiSports.com…named the County Player of the Year as a junior by the Tribune News…totaled a triple double in a victory over Hoover during his junior season…totaled 29 points, five assists and four rebounds and hit a game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer to lead Atascadero past Righetti during his junior season…named to the Pangos AAU Tournament Spring Sweet 16 All-Tournament team in 2013…the team is coached by former UCLA star Earl Watson…nine players from the 2013 Pangos team earned scholarship offers from Division I schools including Berwick…an All-American Honorable Mention selection at the 2013 Pangos All-American Camp…as the quarterback for the Atascadero football team, Berwick set the school record for touchdown passes with 32 and was named the North County Player of the Year by the Tribune News as a senior in 2013… Berwick led Atascadero to an 8-2 record on the football field and the PAC 7 regular season championship during the fall of 2013…he established school records for passing touchdowns, passing yards and completions in leading the Greyhounds to the CIF playoff during his senior season…named to the All-CIF football All-Star team by the Santa Ynez Valley News as a senior…

PERSONAL: Born January 17, 1996…Robbie is the son of Sherri and John Berwick…has one brother, J.D. and two sisters, Shannon and Natalie…Atascadero is in central California – three hours south of San Francisco and three hours north of Los Angeles…made his official visit to Florida State in October of 2013 and committed to head coach Leonard Hamilton and his staff during the first half of the Seminoles’ football victory over Miami in Doak Campbell Stadium…selected Florida State over Stanford, Colorado State, Texas-El Paso and Fresno State…major is sport management with a minor in business…
