TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Jack Maguire was named as a PING third team All-American by the Golf Coaches Association of America on Thursday. This comes days after Maguire was named a second team All-American by Golfweek and became the first Florida State freshman on the men's golf team to be named an All-American.

Maguire led the team this year with a 70.92 stroke average. He won the USF Invitational and Mason Rudolph Championships this year and finished tied for fourth at the ACC Championship.

The St. Petersburg, Fla., native had eight top ten finishes as he was named the ACC Freshman of the Year and to the 2014 Palmer Cup. Maguire finished the season ranked No. 20 in the Golfweek/Sagarin College rankings.

Josh Lee, who just completed his freshman season at Florida State, won the U.S. Amateur Public Links Qualifier in St. Augustine, Fla., at the St. John's Golf and Country Club. He carded a 138 to win by three strokes. Next month he will compete at the U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship in Newton, Kansas at the Sand Creek Station Golf Course.

"It feels great to be able to be the medalist at my qualifier," said Lee. "It gives me a lot of confidence going into the tournament because I played well. I'm really excited to be able to compete in the last U.S. Amateur Public Links. I can't wait to get out there and give myself a chance to be the final winner of such a prestigious tournament."

Lee, a native of Orange Park, Fla., played in seven tournaments this year for the Seminoles with his best showing coming at the Fighting Illini Invitational where he finished tied for 20th.
