2013-14: Competed at the 2014 ACC Championships in the 50, 100 and 200 free races...swam her career best time in the 50 free at the Bulldog Last Chance meet...placed 13th in the 100 free with a time of 51.74 at the Auburn Invite...swam in the C finals of the 50 free and 200 free at the Auburn Invite...contributed on free relays all season...was fourth in both the 50 and 100 free races in the meet against Alabama...took second in the 50 free in the win over Florida Atlantic.



2012-2013: Anchored the 200 free relay to a second place finish and a new FSU record at the ACC Championships with a final time of 1:29.76...split a 22.77 en route to the silver medal and NCAA Automatic Qualifying time in that race...earned second swims in the 200 free, 100 free, and 50 free at the ACC Championships...also set personal-bests in all three events at the ACC's.

2011-2012: Earned a second swim in her first ACC Championships in the 200 free after swimming a best time of 1:50.69 in prelims...also placed 21st in the 100 free with a final time of 51.64.

High School: Powell is a Senior National qualifier and has been labeled the third best prospect in North Carolina by collegeswimming.com...was the state champion in the 50 free and 100 back her sophomore season at the 4-A North Carolina State...accomplished All-State honors all four years while representing Lake Norman High School...was an All-American as a junior in the 50 free(23.89)...named a three-time Swimmer of the Year...is a member of with USA Swimming Gold Medal Club, Swim MAC, which is run by Head Coach David Marsh, who led Auburn to a total of 12 National Championships...she is personally coached by Chris Webb and holds the team record in the 200 back.



Personal: Born July 9, 1993...daughter of Jim and Linda Powell...graduated from Lake Norman High School in 2011 where she was a Scholastic All-American her sophomore and junior years...dad played baseball for Ole Miss...majoring in Hospitality Management.
