Storm Blitz, a native of Fort Myers, Florida, joined the Florida State University Student-Athlete Academic Services staff in May 2014, as an intern.

Storm attended Louisiana State University from 2008-2012 where she received her bachelor's degree in Sport Administration with a minor in Communication Studies. During the end of her junior and entire senior year, Storm interned with LSU's Cox Communications Academic Center for Student Athletes. She then interned with Florida Gulf Coast University's Athletic Department's Office of Compliance for the 2012 summer. From then on, Storm attended the University of Minnesota from 2012-13, receiving her Master's of Education in Sport Management. While at Minnesota, Storm interned with the University's Athletic Department's Office of Compliance for the 2012-13 Academic Year. To correlate with her Master's capstone paper on Title IX, Storm interned with the University of Minnesota's Women's Center, housed under the Office of Equity and Diversity, during the Fall of 2013. Finally, during the spring of 2014, Storm served as a mentor to student-athletes at Florida Gulf Coast University. Storm is an active member of the National Association of Collegiate Women Athletic Administrators (NACWAA), having attended their Women's Leadership Symposium the Summer of 2013. She is also a member of the National Association of Academic Advisors of Athletics (N4A).
