2015: Played in eight games making five starts for the Seminoles in 2015…posted a 4-2 record as Florida State’s quarterback during his redshirt junior season...threw for 1,520 yards with 11 touchdowns and six interceptions completing 59.3 percent of his passes on the year…averaged 190.0 yards per game, while finishing the year with a pass efficiency rating of 139.67…first start of the season came at home against Syracuse leading FSU to a 45-21 victory...threw for 348 yards against the Orange including 302 yards before halftime - most by a Seminole QB since Chris Weinke had 302 yards at the half against Clemson in 2000...finished the game posting a career-high three touchdown passes including a 75-yard strike to Travis Rudolph in the first quarter...entered in reserve against NC State with FSU down 17-7 in the second quarter and responded by leading the Noles to 27 unanswered points en route to a 34-17 victory...went 18-of-28 for 231 yards and two touchdowns in the win over the Wolfpack...led the Noles to an impressive victory at Florida throwing for 160 yards and a touchdown in a 27-2 win...established career-highs for completions (22), attempts (44) and passing yards (392) against Houston in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl…was knocked out of the game against the Cougars early in the first quarter with an ankle injury and missed three drives before returning under center in the second quarter…threw multiple touchdown passes in four of his eight appearances…finished the year completing 10 passes of at least 30 yards or more, including four against Houston.
2014: Backup quarterback who appeared in four games...led FSU to a 23-17 overtime victory over No. 17 Clemson in his lone start in place of Jameis Winston...passed for 304 yards and a touchdown on 21-of-39 pass attempts...his 74-yard touchdown toss to Rashad Greene tied that game at 17-17 with 6:04 left in the fourth quarter…was just one of two players to pass for over 300 yards against the Tigers, who finished No. 1 in the nation in total defense and No. 2 in pass defense in 2014...also appeared in games against The Citadel, Wake Forest and Oregon in the Rose Bowl.
2013: Appeared in nine games and threw a pass in three contests...on the season, completed 13-of-21 passes for 116 yards and two touchdowns for a passer rating of 120.69...had a completion percentage of 61.9 percent...moved into backup quarterback role following season-ending injury to Jacob Coker against Wake Forest in ninth game of the season...played the entire second half against Syracuse and completed 3-of-5 passes for 21 yards, including his first career touchdown, a 17-yard scoring pass to roommate Nick O’Leary...set or matched career highs in nearly every category going 9-of-14 for 84 yards and a touchdown versus Idaho.
