2015-16: After missing the entire fall and early spring seasons with a wrist and ankle injury, finished with a 4-9 singles record and 11-3 doubles record...all four singles wins came on Ct. 6, including two in the ACC Tournament against Wan-Yi Sweeting of Boston College and Cassie Mercer of No. 16 Virginia...she also had three unfinished singles matches where she was either one or two games away from winning...in doubles, played the final six matches with Daneika Borthwick, going 6-0 on Ct. 2.

2014-15: 14-6 dual match record, including 0-1 on Ct. 4, 5-3 on Ct. 5 and 9-2 on Ct. 6...finished the year 1-3 against ranked opponents...in doubles, went just 2-3 in dual matches, all playing with Yukako Noi...her one win against a ranked opponent was versus No. 78 Ashley Dai of North Carolina, 7-5, 6-3...won in straight sets against No. 2 Florida’s Stefani Stojic, 6-2, 6-2...started the season off with a 6-0, 6-1 win against No. 53 USF at the ITA Kick-Off Weekend...won six consecutive matches from March 20 (6-2, 6-3 vs. No. 32 Notre Dame) to April 12 (1-6, 6-1, 6-2 at Pitt)...ITA Scholar-Athlete...ACC Academic Honor Roll...All-ACC Academic Team...went 7-6 in singles and 3-6 in doubles during the fall season…won four straight matches at the Bedford Cup in Jacksonville en route to capturing the consolation bracket title…split time playing with partners Lana Rush and Yukako Noi in doubles…participated and won a bronze medal in the doubles draw, and reached the second round of the singles draw at the 2014 Central America and Caribbean Games in Veracruz, Mexico representing her home country of Guatemala.

2013-14:  Arrived in Tallahassee in January 2014 and immediately made an impact for Florida State, winning her first singles match against Paula Castro of UAB (6-1, 6-0) to clinch the team match…clinched five other team matches, including four ACC matches – Boston College, NC State, Pitt and Virginia Tech…finished with a 10-11 record in singles with a 10-7 record in doubles…often paired with Mia Vriens in doubles and posted a 7-5 record with her including four conference wins…won eight of her first 10 doubles matches, including an 8-6 win over No. 50 Samantha Asch and Luisa Fernandez of Wake Forest on Feb. 21...her 6-4, 6-2 singles victory against Arizona’s Akilah James was key in FSU’s upset victory over the Wildcats in the first round of the NCAA Championships.

High School: Won two ITF Doubles finals in 2013, including the 10K Quintana Roo as she was paired up with former Seminole Francesca Segarelli…was the youngest player in Fed Cup history for Guatemala in 2010 and also played for the country in 2011 and 2012…had three other ITF Doubles titles, including the 2011 Copa Mundo Maya in 2011 and reached three other finals, as well as reaching three singles finals…was the COTECC No. 1 ranked U-14 in 2008 and reached a career high ITF ranking of 213 in 2012.

Personal: Born March 28, 1995…daughter of John and Regina Schippers…her sister, Paulina, played tennis at Auburn…majoring in hospitality management…aspires to own a restaurant or tennis club.
